Control Room Air Conditioning Instructions
The air conditioning in the control room is done by a Daikin split
air conditioner unit.
The control panel is situated on the southern wall of the control room,
pinned to the notice board.
Control Panel Operation
The control panel looks something like the following:
The features illustrated on this diagram are:
- TIMER SET selector.
If you are not using the timer function, this control is not used.
- TIMER selector.
If you are not using the timer function, this control is not used.
- THERMOSTAT SETTING slector.
Maintains the desired room temperature.
A setting of around 8 for this selector is comfortable.
- FAN SPEED selector.
Offers a choice of Hi, Med or Low fan setting.
A setting of Lo for this selector is comfortable.
- MODE selector
Offers a choice between
"PROGRAM DRY"
,
"COOL"
and
"HEAT"
.
The best setting for this control is
automatic change-over
.
- FILTER CLEAN REMINDER (FILTER SIGN) reset button.
Don't press this button
- ON/STANDBY selector
Activates or deactivates the system.
This is the main ON/OFF switch for the air conditioner.
- TIMER ON/OFF selector.
You should not need to use the timer function.
- FILTER CLEAN REMINDER (FILTER SIGN) lamp (red).
Illuminates when filters need cleaning.
If this lamp is illuminated, ignore it.
- LAMP FOR DEFROSTING (orange)
When this lamp is illuminated, it is really cold outside.
- OPERATING indicator lamp (green)
Green is good. Means everything is working ok.
- TIMER indicator lamp (green).
Means you've activated the timer.
