Notes for 2002 SEPT

In 2002 SEPT there will be a limited amount of flexible scheduling at the ATCA. Under this system, some millimetre proposals have been assigned one or more centimetre proposals as 'swap partners'. A list of the affected proposals and the allocated swap dates is given in the Compact Array Swap Notes. For further information and a list of 'Swap Rules' please read documents in the User's Guide to 3mm Observing with ATCA.

In some cases the Time Assignment Committee assigns a `continuing' status to proposals which are likely to continue over a number of terms. In most cases a continuing status is assigned for a maximum period of one year. During this period the proposers need submit only the proposal cover sheets for each observing term.

The expiry date gives the month in which the continuing status on a proposal expires. For the following term a standard proposal, including a full scientific case, must be submitted.
