ATDRIVEMON displays antenna drive and pointing information from every tick of the ACCs servo control software (presently there are 10 servo 'ticks' each second). This is primarily a tool for technical staff but can also be useful for monitoring the pointing performance of the antennas and checking that the ACCs are still alive. The sections that observers will find most useful is the images showing that the ACCs are still alive (assuming that they are) and the Errors and Sky Position plots.

Normally ATDRIVEMON will be running on the machine FURIOUS. You can start another instance of ATDRIVEMON by:

Once running, you can click on Show Errors or Show Sky Pos for Error and Sky Position plots. There is also a facility for closely monitoring drive information that is started by clicking on 'New Graph' and then select a graph data 'Source' to start drawing a new graph. This facility is mostly to help Compact Array Staff monitor problems. Please consult with staff if you suspect something is wrong with an antennas drives.

It is not advised not to use ATDRIVEMON for remote observing due to the lack of network bandwidth.
