How to Stop CAOBS

You do not need to stop CAOBS unless a problem has occurred. If the CAOBS screen does not look as it should or is not behaving as you expect it to, first: To redraw the display:
CAOBS$>$ redraw

To stop CAOBS observing and exit CAOBS:
 CAOBS$>$ stop  To stop the scan.
 CAOBS$>$ corr closefile  Closes the data file.
 CAOBS$>$ exit

Be patient, it can take about a minute for this to happen. If CAOBS is very slow and appears to be hung, exit instead using:

 Press \fbox{CTRL} + \fbox{Y}
 XBONES$ stop
