3mm IF Pointing Setup

In general ATCA pointing should be calibrated by the array operations staff and be accurate to within around 15 to 20$''$. For mm observations, this is not sufficiently accurate and you will probably need to use Reference Pointing Techniques. See ATCA Reference Pointing Section for information on Reference Pointing at the ATCA.
