Data File Sizes
ATCA data is archived on CD-ROM. As a single CD-ROM can hold a maximum
of 650MB of data, we recommend that no more than 600MB be stored on
one as there can be difficulties reading CDs with large amounts of data.
Therefore, we ask that you keep your individual data
files to 250MB or less. Use the CAMON /status page to check the
size of the current file. ASSISTANCE will warn you once the current
file is larger than this amount.
At intervals of no longer than 3 hours (depending on how quickly your
observations accumulate data), you should close the data file
and open another one:
