ATCA observations of
GRB990712
These results have been obtained as part of project C651 by D.A. Frail,
S.R. Kulkarni, the ATCA Alert group and the BeppoSAX GRB team.

Observations on 99:07:15 - Day 3
-
We obtained a 5 hour observation centered on July 15.86 at 8.7 GHz
(750D array + 6km antenna).
Within the 2' WFC error circle we detect 3 sources above 5 sigma.
A 3"x3" box around the position of the optical transient
(RA (2000) = 22 31 53.1, Dec (2000) = -73d 24' 29",
RA (2000) = 22 31 53.03, Dec (2000) = -73 24 28.3
GCN 387)
shows nothing down to a 3 sigma limit of 150 microJy.

Observations on 99:07:18 - Day 6

We obtained a 10.5 hour observation centered on July 18.81 at 8.7 GHz
(750D array + 6km antenna).
Within the 2' WFC error circle we detect 3 sources above 5 sigma
(including one extended source).
A 3"x3" box around the position of the optical transient
shows nothing down to a 3 sigma limit of 96 microJy.

We obtained a 13.5 hour observation centered on July 26.93 at 8.7 GHz
(1.5D array + 6km antenna).
Within the 2' WFC error circle we detect 3 sources above 5 sigma
(including one extended source).
A 3"x3" box around the position of the optical transient
shows nothing down to a 3 sigma limit of 102 microJy.
