Data Files, Disk Space and Data Acquisition Rates

Data is written to hard disk by CACCC. Compact Array Unix Computers cross mount this disk as /DATA/CACCC_1.

CACOR opens files with names such as: 2001-11-23_0648.C665. The file name is constructed from the Universal date and time, with the extension being the code given to the observing project (all ATCA projects have codes in the format Cnnn). If you do not specify a project ID in your schedule file, the extension used is C999, which is routinely deleted without notice. Please ensure your data files always have your project number as their extension.
