How to Obtain a Directory Listing of Data Files
Data is stored on CACCC's disk, which is cross-mounted on the
ATCA Unix machines. A directory listing of data files on this disk
may be obtained by listing the contents of the directory
/DATA/CACCC_1, which you can access from an xterm logged
in to ATCA Unix machine.
| To list your own data: |
| |
|
| % ls /DATA/CACCC_1/*.nnn |
| Where nnn is your project code number. |
|
Data is stored in RPFITS format. This format is a real-time
version of FITS, specific to the ATCA, and requires the AIPS or MIRIAD task
ATLOD to get the data into AIPS. If you are an overseas
visitor, you may need to convert your data to standard FITS
format. This must be done with AIPS software on one of the
workstations. If you are unfamiliar with AIPS please seek advice.
