Windows on Pericles disappear

This problem is rare: If you lose all your observing windows, the most likely cause is that you have stumbled into another virtual desktop. So, first check that you haven't accidentally clicked into another world.

If you have done something evil (like booting FURIOUS or logging out), you will probably need help in getting going again. Please do get help promptly: Significant amounts of time are lost while people try just `One more thing' (especially if they are `almost there').

If neither of the above are the cause, it probably indicates a wider problem (most likely an online computer crash). Again, it is wise to get help sooner rather than later.
