Remote observing is restricted to experienced observers.
Remote observers must be competent to create schedules, initialise and execute their
observations without support: They should be capable of recognising problems and knowing
how to handle them should they arise.
As described in the Remote Observing Conditions page, permission to observe remotely might not be granted, so observers hoping to observe remotely should ensure that they allow sufficient time to organise travel to the Compact Array if their request is denied.
