Data Quality Observations: Blank field near B0823-500

The following optical and parametrised optical images are of the blank field near the ATCA calibrator B0823-500. The full image was taken from the Digital Sky Survey CD-ROM set and the parametrised version derived from the Hubble Space Telescope Guide Star Catalogue.

The field of view is 40 arcminutes square, which is approximately the size of an L-band (1344MHz) image.
