Introductory Information
This is a brief guide to observing at the ATCA.
The aim is to give observers enough information to do simple observations.

Summary of the ATCA Observation Process
After an astronomer has successfully applied for an experiment at the ATCA, the following needs to occur.
- In general, the astronomer (or a collaborator) will need to travel to the Compact Array (at Narrabri) to do these observations. Experienced astronomers may be allowed to observe remotely.
- The schedule needs to be constructed
- Observations need to be done
- Data copied to export media
